Pickup

For order accuracy and secure billing, we do not accept phone orders except for our wholesale customers. All of our phone lines are in a public lobby, so we do not accept payment over the phone for your safety. Please place all pickup orders online at www.madbutchermeat.com, DoorDash, or come visit us in person. 


1. Add items to your cart.
2. Choose PICKUP at checkout (with your desired day and time).
3. Your items will be ready for your pickup at our store at your selected time. Please have your order number or confirmation email ready. 


Once your order has been placed and filled, we will NOT issue any refunds or order cancellations. We will hold your package until you are able to pick it up or unless you switch to shipping or delivery.


Refunds issued by customer request are subject to a 15% nonrefundable restocking fee. 


ALL SALES ARE FINAL TO KEEP OUR PRICES LOW. NO EXCEPTIONS. 


Local Delivery

1. Add items to your cart.
2. Choose DELIVERY at checkout with your desired day and time.
3. Enter in your address. (We deliver SAME DAY up to 50 miles from our store in Sacramento, CA.) 
4. Your items will be delivered safely to your door. 

5. If you select "Local Delivery" and you are outside of Sacramento, your order will be automatically cancelled upon review. You may place your order again with FedEx shipping.


Shipping

1. Add items to your cart.
2. Choose SHIPPING at checkout.

3. Enter in your shipping address. We provide shipping to California only. We currently do not provide international shipping
4. You will receive confirmation of your order via email. Shortly after, we will provide a tracking number via FedEx. 


Shipping Schedule

**Please note that all orders are delayed by one week due to high volume of orders. We recommend store pickup if possible**


  • Orders Placed on Wednesday - Sunday will be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday

  • Orders placed on Monday - Tuesday will be shipped out on Tuesday or Wednesday

We do not ship packages on Fridays or over the weekend to avoid spoilage.

Recurring customers receive priority for expedited shipments. We always do our best to take care of you. :-)


FEDEX GROUND SHIPMENTS DO NOT HAVE A GUARANTEED TRANSIT TIME. THE TRANSIT TIME SHOWN TO YOU VIA CHECKOUT IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY FROM FEDEX FOR THE TRANSIT TIME, NOT THE TIME IT TAKES TO PROCESS AND PACK YOUR ORDER. YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING IF YOU SELECT FEDEX 2 DAY AIR OR OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. 


We would like to clarify that our shipping rates are determined by FedEx and not by Mad Butcher Meat Company. We offer shipping at cost to maintain product quality, prioritizing cold and frozen delivery. While we acknowledge FedEx's pricing might seem high, our priority is to ensure product integrity during shipping. We regret any inconvenience caused by these rates and appreciate your understanding of our approach.

Shipping and Delivery Policies

Once your items are released to the carrier (FedEx, Uber, UPS, etc), Mad Butcher Meat Company and Wholesome Raw Pet Food are not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, held, or damaged. We are also not responsible for porch pirates or package thieves. Once your package is released to the carrier, ownership of the package is transferred to the customer. By utilizing our shipping or delivery services, the buyer understands that they are purchasing frozen/cold items at their own risk. 


We are not responsible for any mis-delivery errors when the address has not been entered correctly. If you order for shipping and delivery, you understand that you are responsible for filing any claims with Roadie, Uber, FedEx, or UPS. Mad Butcher Meat Company may only assist you with these orders by providing video/camera proof of your order leaving our facility in perfect condition to add to your claim. 


We ONLY issue refunds if items are missing (which is cross referenced with our video/camera system) from your package on our end.
